My name is Rosaura Sandoval and I am a photographer based in the Northern California’s Bay Area. I am starting this project to push myself and grow as a photographer and story teller. I am a little scared of making this commitment but I’m going for it. I have a busy life: I’m married, have an energetic 2.5 year old, a big immediate family and a good stream of clients. But I really want to challenge myself to make the time to do this. Challenge myself to pick up my camera daily, see daily, capture daily, process daily, post daily… be a photographer daily with just one picture.
I fully suspect that there will be days when I feel I don’t have anything to photograph. And that’s where it gets interesting. I _have_ to try to find it. Some days I will win and some days I will lose. But my goal is to just do it and not worry about perfection.
Rules for myself in this project is that it be FRESH: Photo made that day. If I’m traveling a lot, I may post something from my iphone but I promise not to use that as a crutch.
So please stick around and see my progression. I welcome the company. 🙂 Be forewarned. There _will_ be tons of photogs of Gemma, my baby girl, but that’s ok. She’s a hard one to photograph. 🙂
